The "Cloud Dancer," chosen as Pantone's 2026 Color of the Year, isn't the kind of color that immediately grabs attention. Cloud Dancer is more like light suspended in the air, somewhere between white and transparent—soft, clean, yet warm. This near-colorless hue allows the space to move away from color dominance and return to the essence of materials, lines, and light and shadow. Through a series of works with clear design language and restrained forms, Roche Bobois transforms Cloud Dancer into a perceptible home atmosphere.
BUBBLE Curve
Three- to four-seater sofa
BUBBLE is the kind of sofa that instantly transforms the atmosphere of a space. Its rounded, soft shape, as if gently lifted by air, completely breaks away from the traditional square structure of sofas. The curved seat curves inward, naturally creating an enclosed space, making it suitable for placement in the center of a living room or open-plan space as a focal point. The sofa height is intentionally lowered, and the seating depth is deeper, allowing the body to be fully supported rather than merely sitting.
In the Cloud Dancer color scheme, the originally visually striking design is softened, and the boundaries no longer clearly divide the space, but rather create a sense of continuity with the walls and floor. The fabric surface has a subtle texture, which reduces the monotony of a large area of white. BUBBLE does not rely on cushions to adjust posture; the support and comfort settings are provided by the body itself, making it suitable for extended use.

CACTUS
floor lamp
CACTUS is composed of multiple stacked circular halos, each light source softened by hand-wrapped diffuser fabric, resulting in even, gentle, and impactful light that is not glaring. CACTUS's light is not merely functional illumination, but a key element in creating ambiance. The light is omnidirectional and diffuses without casting sharp shadows, making it unsuitable as a single main light source, but better suited for adding depth and dimension to a space. It's ideal for placement at corners or along walls, allowing the light to naturally spread throughout the space, creating soft layers of light and shadow. By day, it's an elegant sculpture; by night, it becomes a quiet and stable source of light.

NO LIMIT
flower utensils
Made of thick, transparent glass, the NO LIMIT vase has a rounded body that resembles a still water tank. Inside, there is a handcrafted porcelain fish-shaped decoration, as if capturing a fleeting moment of movement within the glass. The proportions and positions of the fish are precisely arranged, creating different visual focal points whether viewed from the front or the side, allowing the vase to remain functional even without flowers.
In Cloud Dancer's soft white space, the transparency of the glass contrasts subtly with the matte texture of the porcelain fish. As light passes through the vessel, it leaves faint refractions on the tabletop or cabinet surface, allowing the object to interact with its environment. NO LIMIT can be displayed alone or used as a low vase, suitable for placing on a coffee table, desk, or window seat. It is not meant to fill space, but rather to exist as an everyday object with aesthetic value.

SPEED UP
dining table
The dining table is supported by a central single-column base, the design of which consists of multiple intersecting curved lines. This draws the eye to the area directly beneath the tabletop, while allowing ample legroom at the edges. The tabletop is made of natural marble, with each piece featuring a unique texture. The thickness of the tabletop is carefully balanced between aesthetics and practicality, avoiding an overly heavy appearance.
The base material contrasts sharply with the tabletop: the lower structure leans towards an industrial aesthetic, while the upper part retains the natural weight of stone. Within the Cloud Dancer color scheme, SPEED UP doesn't feel cold or harsh; instead, it becomes the most stable horizontal benchmark in the space, suitable for six or more people, and also helps maintain visual order in an open-plan kitchen and dining area.

ROCKET
Cocktail table
ROCKET uses a cylindrical structure as its basic form, deliberately proportioned to resemble an everyday spice jar. The three-hole design on the top is not only a visual feature but also provides a practical grip point, allowing the table to be moved with one hand. The tabletop height falls between a side table and a bar table, making it flexible for use next to a sofa, an armchair, or for impromptu gatherings. ROCKET's presence comes from its shape rather than its color, adding a functional element without disrupting the overall visual continuity. It's suitable as a secondary table rather than a primary piece of furniture; when space requires temporary support for objects or interpersonal interaction, ROCKET plays an immediate and movable role.
