For Guerlain, fragrance has never been just something on the skin, but a lifestyle that permeates daily life. This year, the brand has officially transformed its most iconic olfactory language into a complete lifestyle proposal, launching the new "L'Art & la Matière The New Art of Living" lifestyle aesthetics collection.
Six classic fragrances interpreted
The soul of the entire collection comes from Guerlain's core fragrance structure, the "Guerlinade." This classic fragrance, composed of bergamot, rose, jasmine, iris, vanilla, and tonka bean, runs through iconic fragrances from Jicky to Shalimar, and is the brand's most recognizable olfactory signature. Now it's also used in candles, soaps, and car diffusers, allowing the fragrance to permeate every aspect of life.
The six scents in the collection were personally crafted by Guerlain's Creative Director of Fragrances, Delphine Jelk, each corresponding to a core ingredient in Guerlain's fragrances. "Vanille Planifolia" presents a warm sweetness with a high proportion of vanilla, incorporating woody and smoky notes to deepen the sweetness. "Bergamote Fantastico" elevates the citrusy freshness of bergamot to a more three-dimensional level, enhancing the greenness with bitter orange leaf, evoking an escape from the winter chill of southern Italy. "Iris Pallida" retains the elegant powdery characteristics of iris, blending almond and musk for a soft yet sophisticated scent. "Rose Centifolia" amplifies the fruity and honeyed notes of rose, paired with frankincense and patchouli for a heavier floral fragrance. "Tonka Sarrapia" intensifies its addictive quality with bitter almond, inspired by an afternoon in a Parisian Left Bank café. "Jasmin Grandiflorum" is bright and rounded, with jasmine infused with the creamy notes of dried fruit and sandalwood, presenting a garden atmosphere in the morning light.

Beeswax candle design
The containers holding these scents are equally exquisite. The candle bottles retain the iconic octagonal silhouette of the perfume series, featuring a two-tone design that combines matte colors with a brushed gold finish. The bee logo on the bottle is understated yet highly recognizable. The wax is made with a high proportion of beeswax, resulting in a soft and stable fragrance that slowly spreads throughout the space rather than diffusing rapidly. The bottle and fragrance can be freely combined, and engraving services are available, making each candle a personalized home item.
The soap series adds a touch of ritual to daily cleansing. The large 150g size, shaped like a cut gemstone, boasts clean lines and a substantial feel. The formula includes shea butter, producing fine lather and leaving skin with a pleasant, lightweight fragrance, making it suitable for repeated daily use.
The most contemporary design is the car diffuser, based on an octagonal structure with openwork details that allow the colors of the fragrance beads inside to shimmer under light. Once fixed to the air conditioning vent, the fragrance concentration can be adjusted as needed, and no odor remains when replacing or refilling, maintaining a clean olfactory experience in the car.
