At this year's Boot Düsseldorf yacht show, Porsche, in collaboration with Austrian shipyard Frauscher Boats, unveiled the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre, along with the Porsche Macan Turbo Concept Lago. This is not merely a brand collaboration; it involves simultaneously applying the same all-electric performance system to both roads and lakes, truly achieving "land and sea integration."
Directly equipped with Macan Turbo pure electric power
The biggest highlight of the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre is that it uses the same all-electric powertrain as the Porsche Macan Turbo. The 100 kWh high-voltage battery, the 400 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the entire electronic control architecture are almost entirely copied onto the hull, making it a veritable "electric sports car on water".
The hull is 7.97 meters long, and the newly developed hull is lighter, shorter, and narrower than before, aiming to improve maneuverability and efficiency. The lower weight and optimized waterline proportions make the hull more responsive during acceleration and turning, while maintaining high-speed cruising stability. This approach is the same as Porsche's when building the Taycan, Macan Electric, or Cayenne Electric, all designed from scratch with a pure electric architecture.
In terms of appearance, the 790 Spectre shares the Darkteal Metallic paint color with the Macan Turbo Concept Lago, a custom paint scheme from the Porsche Paint to Sample program. The hull can be finished in a specified color using an 11-layer painting process at the shipyard, offering a high degree of customization. The sideblades on the concept car are body-colored and feature the Frauscher x Porsche logo, while the display model uses a high-gloss black with the word "electric" printed on it. The car and boat share a consistent visual language in proportion, color, and detail, blurring the lines between land and water.

Dual-scenario operation of pure electric performance
The Porsche Macan Turbo Concept Lago is the concept car version of this collaboration, heavily customized by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The exterior continues the 790 Spectre's nautical inspiration, while the interior incorporates numerous yacht elements. The front and rear luggage compartments are adorned with yacht-style wood trim, and wood details are added to the door trim and floor mats, creating a deck-like atmosphere. Instead of the Sport Chrono timer, a compass has been replaced at the top of the driver's cockpit, perfectly echoing the nautical theme.
The seats feature nautical-grade fabric in the center, paired with Crayon leather trim and Night Green contrast stitching. The steering wheel, start button placement, and five-ring instrument cluster retain Porsche's traditional sporty DNA, especially the start button, which remains in its classic left-hand position on the steering wheel. The car and boat even share the same custom key, both finished in Darkteal Metallic, showcasing a unified and consistent design in every detail.
In addition to concept cars and boats, Porsche also presented the German debut of the Cayenne Electric at the same event. The Turbo version boasts a maximum output of 850 kW and a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons, making it an ideal match for towing yachts. This signifies that in the electric era, the brand not only emphasizes performance but also considers practicality and lifestyle scenarios.
