The Temerario officially debuted at Monterey Car Week in 2024, signaling the end of the Huracán era. As Lamborghini's first plug-in hybrid supercar, the Temerario features a V8 twin-turbo engine paired with three electric motors. It aims to redefine the boundaries of contemporary "passionate supercars" with its futuristic design and performance configuration. The balance between incorporating electric components and retaining Lamborghini's distinctive heritage is what makes this car so intriguing.
The hexagonal design language runs throughout the entire car.
The Temerario retains Lamborghini's signature triangular angles and shark-nose silhouette, but appears more refined than the Huracán. The headlights have been redesigned with hexagonal daytime running lights, paired with a lower bumper whose lines naturally guide airflow into the cooling and downforce systems. S-duct vents resemble front air intakes, while a lower spoiler echoes the aerodynamic structure. The side profile features curved lines combined with sharp creases, clearly defining airflow paths. Rear details include hexagonal taillights and exhaust pipes, resulting in a more compact yet powerful proportion that echoes the traditional Lamborghini's aggressive presence.
The body is built on an aluminum alloy aerodynamic chassis, increasing structural rigidity by over 20%. Combined with the Alleggerita aerodynamic kit option (a full carbon fiber lightweight kit), it can increase downforce by up to 158%. Compared to the Huracán EVO, the Temerario's aerodynamic improvements are truly significant, not merely visually exaggerated, but a functional integration into the design. The interior retains the fighter jet-style control panel and multi-screen interface. The new comfort seats offer 18-way power adjustment and slightly increased headroom and legroom, making them more suitable for daily use or track driving than the Huracán. This is not just about piling on sports car components, but a holistic design approach focused on practicality and driving experience.

Driving modes include city and drift modes.
The Temerario's powertrain is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine developed in-house by Lamborghini. Featuring a flat-plane crankshaft and titanium connecting rods, it reaches a high rev limit of 10,000 rpm and delivers 800 horsepower, with peak torque maintained at approximately 730 Nm between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm. It is equipped with three electric motors (one located between the engine and transmission, and two at the front wheels), a 3.8 kWh battery, and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, resulting in a total output of approximately 907 horsepower and 800 kilowatts, equivalent to the Lamborghini Revuelto V12.
The Temerario's acceleration is impressive, reaching 0-100 km/h in approximately 2.7 seconds, with some tests even recording 2.4 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 340 km/h. In addition to enhancing power, the electric motor's power distribution to the front axle provides more precise torque control and handling feedback. Thirteen driving modes, including City, Racing, and Drift, are designed to meet the needs of different drivers. In Corsa mode, Launch Control allows for acceleration and even controlled drifting on the track, while maintaining a stable and enjoyable driving experience. Although the Temerario is approximately 650 pounds heavier than the Huracán due to its hybrid hardware, the excellent power-to-weight ratio and chassis setup do not diminish driving confidence; instead, they create a more ergonomic handling feel.
