At the intersection of music and fashion, Bang & Olufsen and Saint Laurent Rive Droite have joined forces again to launch the Beogram 4000c Saint Laurent Rive Droite Edition, a limited edition of only ten units worldwide. Each unit is uniquely numbered, breathing new life into the classic.
The history of the dialogue between fashion and music
In the 1970s, Bang & Olufsen launched the Beogram 4000c turntable, which, with its avant-garde design and exceptional sound quality, became a representative of audio aesthetics at the time. The turntable's automated tonearm design reduced wear and tear on vinyl records from manual operation, accurately reproducing the details and emotions of the music. Today, this classic has been revitalized under the vision of Saint Laurent Rive Droite, becoming a perfect fusion of modern and retro styles.

Since 2017, Saint Laurent Rive Droite has collaborated with Bang & Olufsen, seamlessly blending fashion and music. Previous collaborations have resulted in the Beoplay 8 headphones, Beoplay speakers, and the extreme Beosound A9. For this latest project, the two brands have restored and modernized ten original Beogram 4000c turntables. Each turntable has been disassembled, cleaned, and parts replaced where necessary. They are then housed in sturdy ziricote wooden display cases with aluminum accents, and each is individually numbered, highlighting its uniqueness and collectible value.
Experience luxury in the details
This limited-edition turntable embodies Saint Laurent Rive Droite's signature understated luxury. The elegant silver turntable is reminiscent of the dial of a fine watch. Presented in a sturdy ziricote wooden display case, this dark hardwood boasts a unique grain, making it a collectible work of art even as a decorative piece. The warm wood paired with the cool silver, along with the clean, crisp lines, exudes refined elegance.
In terms of technology, the Beogram 4000c is equipped with a RIAA phono preamp and a 3.5mm output jack for easy connection to various modern audio equipment. This technological upgrade allows users to experience the warm sound quality of vinyl records and feel the purity and authenticity of music in modern environments. For collectors and music lovers, the Beogram 4000c Saint Laurent Rive Droite Edition is both a pursuit of quality and an investment in art.
