Chopard's iconic Ice Cube high jewelry collection has been elevated to a higher aesthetic level this year with bold proportions and architectural elements, ranging from convertible necklaces to architecturally inspired bracelets and brooches, as well as new rings and earrings.
Sculptural feel of geometric lines
The new Ice Cube convertible necklace is the centerpiece of this collection. The necklace is crafted from nine rows of flexibly hinged 18K white and rose gold cubes, their varying heights creating a dynamic silhouette. Wearers can freely mix and match three rows at a time, transforming it from a short necklace to a full, glamorous choker, adapting to different occasions. This modular design continues the Ice Cube collection's tradition of layering, but adds a more three-dimensional and sculptural feel.
The cubes on the necklace are treated in different ways, some mirror-polished, others set with brilliant-cut diamonds. Light and shadow dance between the metal and diamonds, giving the necklace a sense of movement even when stationary. This interplay of light and shadow is one of the most captivating qualities of the Ice Cube collection, echoing the changing cityscape at dawn and dusk. Complementing this are three new bracelets, available with three or six rows of cubes, in 18K rose gold and white gold versions, partially or fully pavé-set with diamonds, showcasing a diverse range of styles from understated to glamorous.
Another extension of the design is a multi-purpose brooch. It can be worn on a suit lapel, used as a tie clip, or even subtly adorned in the hair, showcasing a neutral yet versatile quality. Continuing the architectural feel of the Ice Cube collection, the cube, like a skyscraper, outlines urban lines and shimmers in the refraction of light and shadow. This design, which views jewelry as a freely transformable accessory, not only highlights creativity but also gives the wearer more possibilities for self-expression.

The ultimate expression of architecture and light and shadow
The Ice Cube collection further expands the geometric vocabulary, incorporating classic Art Deco elements into its designs. One ring in the collection features two parallel 18K white gold bands paved with diamonds, connected at the center by a diagonally angled three-carat Asscher-cut diamond—a bold yet remarkably balanced structure. This ring resembles a miniature sculpture, cleverly combining the language of the cube with the octagonal lines of Art Deco.
The earrings echo this architectural aesthetic. Centered around two 1.2-carat Asscher-cut diamonds, a flowing pendant composed of 14 diamond-encrusted cubes dangles from behind the ear. This design is detachable, allowing for an asymmetrical single-sided effect or a double-sided display of full three-dimensionality. This flexibility elevates the Ice Cube earrings beyond mere fine jewelry, transforming them into everyday works of art that complement individual styles and moods.
In all the new pieces, mirror-polished and diamond-paved cubes intertwine, refracting different levels of luster. This effect requires an extremely high level of craftsmanship, as achieving a perfect finish on tiny and irregular surfaces is incredibly difficult. It is this precision and meticulousness that makes the Ice Cube series more than just a geometric repetition; it transforms the architectural language of modern cities and the interplay of light and shadow into wearable art.
