In 2025, the new Toric Petite Seconde returns, redefining dress watches in two versions: Platinum Golden Hour and Rose Gold Dune. The Toric Petite Seconde presents a well-proportioned design with a 40.6mm diameter and 8.8mm thickness, its lines inspired by Doric columns, simple yet architecturally inspired. The platinum version is paired with an Akoya Grey alligator leather strap in a grey-green hue, creating a cool, mineral-like freshness; the rose gold version is paired with a warm Sand Gold leather strap, bringing a sheen similar to sunlight shining on sand dunes. These two atmospheres are not contradictory, but rather harmoniously complement each other, making dress watches not merely symbols of seriousness, but a more intimate and tactile presence. The dial is another highlight of the design. Made with a base of pure gold and treated with a 17th-century hand-brushed technique, each gold dial is first coated with a mixture of tartaric acid, sea salt, and silver powder, then repeatedly polished with special brushes to achieve a matte texture reminiscent of a plaster wall or parchment. Measuring only 3.15 mm thick, it offers a 60-hour power reserve, and its 4 Hz frequency ensures precise timekeeping. The movement's structure deliberately employs an asymmetrical open bridge design, visually representing the double mainspring barrels and escapement system—a design that is both orderly and poetic. Two solid 18K rose gold bridges are skeletonized and decorated with a sunburst finish, showcasing the tension and breath of the mechanical structure.
