Since its establishment more than 200 years ago, Bovet has been committed to creating the world's most exquisite timepieces. The latest Récital 12 chain watch launched by Bovet has undergone more than two years of meticulous research and development. It is a major innovation in the brand's history and the first chain watch launched by the brand in more than two centuries, meeting the needs of many collectors around the world.
Material innovation
Over the years, Bovet has always used 18K white gold, 18K red gold, stainless steel, platinum and even sapphire crystal to make timepieces. In recent years, the brand has introduced titanium into the Récital 12. Titanium is an ideal material for making timepieces due to its lightness and strength. It not only has excellent corrosion resistance, high scratch resistance, but also low allergenicity. The Récital 12 is thus lightweight and ergonomic, without losing the elegance and quality of a high-end watch.

All-day comfort
The Récital 12 features a 40 mm case, perfect for any occasion. Wear it during daily office work to show your exquisite taste. Wear it for an elegant dinner or wear it with jeans and a t-shirt for a casual look on the weekend. The folding clasp incorporates a clever telescopic design that can be adjusted by up to three millimeters. The polished and matte finishes complement each other, and the BOVET "V" logo is the finishing touch. It is eye-catching at first glance and harmonious and timeless after a long look. When the folding clasp is closed, the tip of the “V” cleverly forms a symbol of infinity, representing the brand’s infinite craftsmanship and design wisdom.
High-end movement
Récital 12 uses a new and exclusive movement. Unlike the traditional movement baseplate that can be viewed from the front of the watch, Récital 12 has its baseplate designed upside down. The new bottom plate is similar to a three-quarter plywood with a circular “BOVET” logo engraved on it, perfectly combining durability with elegance and slimness. The fine craftsmanship has achieved impeccable results, making the watch durable while still retaining its elegant temperament. In addition, the new movement is equipped with a single barrel that can provide a power reserve of up to seven days, a total of 168 hours, which exceeds current watchmaking standards and demonstrates Bovet’s firm commitment to ultra-long power reserves.
Off-center dial
The off-centre dial features a skeletonised movement, allowing collectors to clearly admire the Bovet-manufactured balance wheel, regulating organ and part of the gear train that powers the single barrel. The second hand frame with a new splint design is also one of the highlights of the dial. The three-pronged second hand indication is matched with three blued hands, bringing a unique visual beauty. The off-centre dial is entirely made in-house and features Bovet’s iconic lotus guilloché decoration, with 12 petals symbolising 12 hours, with unparalleled refinement in every detail. The dial is fixed with blued screws, and eight layers of rich paint are superimposed on each other, exuding a luxurious texture. There is a power reserve indicator just above the dial, showing a seven-day power reserve. The amazing endurance is undoubtedly a highlight of the Récital 12.
