This summer, Dior took its makeup campaign to Provence in the south of France, choosing the brand's beloved La Colle Noire castle to set a bright, relaxed, and playful tone for the entire collection. This season, designer Peter Philips incorporated both warm and cool tones into the same collection, creating looks that were both sunny and retained Dior's signature meticulousness and clean aesthetic.
The limited-edition Dior Forever Nude Bronze Glow and Dior Forever Glow Luminizer both feature daisy-embossed and cannage-patterned packaging, even incorporating Christian Dior's favorite ladybug element, making them visually appealing. However, what truly captivates is their effect on the face. Bronze Glow combines contouring, blush, and highlighter in one palette, and the resulting glow isn't a heavy bronzer, but rather a natural warmth reminiscent of the southern French sun on the skin. The new Glow Luminizer shade 003 Sun-Kissed is more like the light of dusk, noticeably bright without being too harsh. Another noteworthy item is the Dior Forever Skin Bronze contour stick. Its soft texture blends quickly into the skin, making it easy to use for enhancing contours or adding a radiant glow after sun exposure.

The eye makeup and lip gloss also continue this approach of concretizing summer light. The Diorshow 5 Couleurs limited-edition eyeshadow palette features one set of sky blue, coral, and gold, while another leans towards pink, brick orange, and golden brown. The colors evoke the warmth of a southern French evening, but they're easy to coordinate, suitable for both everyday light wear and formal looks. The newly launched Diorshow Flash Stick is another memorable item; its smooth texture allows for direct application, serving as both an eyeshadow base and a lash line for added vibrancy.

For the lips, Dior Addict Lip Maximizer took the lead, with several limited-edition shades ranging from translucent blue and soft coral to shimmering pink and bronze. These shades continue the collection's airy, bright hues, enhanced by hyaluronic acid for moisturizing and plumping effects, giving the overall look a luminous touch to summer. Even the fingertips weren't overlooked; Dior Vernis released two limited-edition shades: bright blue and iridescent gold-copper, capturing the season's colors from sky to sunset.
