The Horizon aluminum suitcase launched this season is a new creation commemorating the tenth anniversary of Louis Vuitton's collaboration with industrial designer Marc Newson, and also the brand's first aluminum suitcase. The suitcase is formed through stamping and laser cutting, retaining the smooth, rounded contours characteristic of the Horizon series. The Monogram embossing on the surface not only enhances its recognizability but also contributes to the structural reinforcement of the suitcase. Marc Newson has always been adept at handling complex engineering problems quietly, and this time is no exception. The rivets and exposed hinges commonly found in traditional aluminum suitcases are almost entirely concealed within cleaner lines in this design, assembled using an ultra-thin frame and hidden hinges, making the Horizon aluminum alloy suitcase the first rivet-free aluminum alloy suitcase on the market. The design also incorporates comprehensive considerations for usability. The external pull rod preserves interior space, keeping the main compartment flat for neater packing and better capacity.
