Richard Mille, with its philosophy of "when complexity is hidden and purity is achieved," has launched the RM 63-02 World Timer Automatic watch, a limited edition of 100 pieces worldwide. Its unique multi-time zone adjustment mechanism makes it a valuable companion for frequent travelers.
The innovative fusion of borderless watch cases and aesthetics
Breaking away from Richard Mille's traditional tonneau shape, it presents a round design. The case is 47mm in diameter and 13.45mm thick, employing a dual-material construction. Its three-piece case is milled from satin-brushed 5N red gold with polished bevels, while the middle case is crafted from lightweight and robust Grade 5 titanium alloy.
The most striking feature is its revolutionary world time setting mechanism with the 5N red gold rotating bezel. Traditional world time watches require a crown or pushers, but the RM 63-02's bezel utilizes a ball bearing structure, allowing the wearer to instantly switch time zones simply by gently rotating the bezel to select a city. This intuitive operation makes it easy to read the time globally. The inner bezel features a two-tone display in rose pink and burgundy red, automatically distinguishing between day and night and accurately adapting to different time zones.

The precision and complexity of the movement
The watch is equipped with the brand's in-house automatic movement, constructed entirely of grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges. The skeletonized design allows the entire transmission structure to be fully visible. The day/night indicator disc at 2 o'clock is made of titanium and can be adjusted via a gold button at 8 o'clock. A function selector is located at 4 o'clock, allowing for easy switching between winding, time setting, and neutral modes with a simple press, preventing accidental damage and providing an intuitive and smooth user experience.
In addition, the bidirectional winding rotor is made of a mixture of 5N red gold and titanium, and is equipped with an involute gear and a variable inertia balance wheel design, which not only makes it highly efficient but also improves the stability of timekeeping. The mainspring barrel can provide 50 hours of power reserve, interpreting the rhythm of the journey with the ultimate craftsmanship.
